BOY'D is a queer-owned Australian men's swimwear and underwear brand, designed in Melbourne. We make swimwear, underwear and partywear for men who want to feel bold, sexy and free, whether that's at the beach, at a party, or somewhere far more interesting.
Born in Melbourne, 2023
BOY'D started in Melbourne in 2023 with a simple idea. Most men's swim and underwear at our price point comes off the same handful of overseas wholesale racks. We wanted something that was actually ours, so every BOY'D silhouette is designed in-house, with original pattern-making and our own fabric development. Nothing white-label, nothing rebadged. The cut is unmistakably BOY'D.
Proudly, joyfully queer
We are not trying to appeal to everyone, and that is the point. BOY'D is made by and for queer men, and that specificity is our strength. We are embedded in queer Melbourne, from the Carlton Baths to Midsummer to Pride March, and we design for the body you actually have and the nights you actually want. What we really sell is the feeling of being entirely at ease in your own skin.
Three ways to wear it
Our range splits into three collections, each with its own mood:

Made to last, made responsibly
Our Afterglow underwear is made from Lenzing modal, a silky "vegan silk" spun from renewable beech wood that is breathable, moisture-wicking and gentle on the planet. Read more on our sustainability page.
